Security
Our platform is designed so that your sensitive organogram data stays on your device. Here is what we protect, and what we deliberately do not store.
Current security posture
These controls apply to everyone using the Organogram Designer, free or Pro.
No chart data is uploaded
The designer runs entirely in your browser. Staff names, titles, structure, and exports are processed locally and never sent to our servers.
Encrypted where data does touch us
License-key checks, device activations, and support requests travel over HTTPS/TLS. The small amount of server-side data we hold is encrypted at rest.
Hard delete, no hidden copies
Deleting a chart removes it from your local storage. Because we never store chart data on our servers, there is no cloud copy to linger.
Minimal collection
We only ask for an email address when you contact support or activate a license. We never collect, process, or store your org chart content.
What we do not do
We do not store your org chart data in a cloud database, so there is no central repository for us to breach, mine, or share. We do not run analytics on your staff names, and we do not train any model on your content.
Keeping the organogram data in your browser means the usual cloud-platform risks do not apply to the chart itself. We still follow secure development practices for our backend services and keep dependencies up to date.
More detail on data handling is in our privacy policy.
